Alternatively, instead of going into the water first, as described in Part 2, try this:

Drop into the pit at the top of the dark slope where the barrels came from.

Use your remaining KEYCARD in the YELLOW STAR LOCK.

This opens the nearby trapdoor and the big double doors in the barrel area.

Climb back out of the pit. Head down the slope and left through the doors you just opened.

Run into the smaller doorway straight ahead, roll, and draw Uzis or M16.

Shoot the third flamethrower guy as he approaches from the area near the rusty barrels. Then drop into the pools to retrieve the goodies shown in Part 2.
